These terms guide how families, caregivers, and all users interact with TinyCare. By signing up, you agree to these terms.
1. Your Account
You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your password with anyone. You must be at least 18 years old to use TinyCare.
2. Using TinyCare
TinyCare is a platform that helps families and caregivers connect with each other. We do not employ caregivers, set their rates, manage their schedules, or supervise their activities.
Each family and caregiver decides how they want to work together.
3. User Responsibilities
Every user agrees to:
- Use accurate and honest information.
- Communicate respectfully with others.
- Follow all local laws regarding childcare, employment, and safety.
- Handle payments directly between family and caregiver if the platform does not manage transactions.
- Take responsibility for verifying identities and qualifications before meeting or hiring.
4. Offline Activities
TinyCare does not control what happens outside the platform. We are not responsible for:
- In-person meetings
- Childcare agreements made privately
- Any incidents that occur during or after offline interactions
We encourage users to meet in public places first, check references, and communicate openly.
5. Content and Communications
You may not use TinyCare to post harmful, abusive, illegal, or misleading content. TinyCare may remove content that goes against community standards.
6. Payments (If Added Later)
If TinyCare introduces secure payments, separate terms will apply. Until then, all financial agreements are strictly between families and caregivers.
7. Platform Changes and Availability
We may update TinyCare from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, although we work hard to avoid downtime.
8. Disclaimers
TinyCare provides the platform "as is."
We do not guarantee that a match will be successful, that users are who they say they are, or that services will meet expectations.
We encourage users to stay cautious.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, TinyCare is not responsible for:
- Damages from offline interactions
- Issues between families and caregivers
- Loss of data
- Misuse of the platform by others
10. Termination
TinyCare may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These terms follow the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
